Head of Research at Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion (CAFI). Before joining CAFI, Dr. Hu was the Head of Research at Ping An Digital Economic Research Center; he led the team to provide AI and Big Data driven macroeconomics and investment research, using technology to empower Ping An’s financial service ecosystem. Before joining Ping An, Dr. Hu taught at Fudan University, his specialization was macroeconomics and international finance. Dr. Hu received his economics PhD from Texas A&M University in 2011 and his bachelor degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2006.
